ROAD RUNNER
Overview of:
SERVICE DESCRIPTION AND LIMITATIONS
The purpose of this document is to define mutual
expectations for service and support provided by Bright House Networks-Road
Runner for broadband cable Internet service.
General Description:
1)
Provide cable access to customer’s business premise
2)
Determine customer bandwidth requirements to support
existing Internet-based communications applications
3)
Provide bandwidth afforded by current, tiered
product offers on a ‘best effort’ basis
4)
Provide cable modem or UBR cable router to allow
termination of offered bandwidth on customer’s premise
5)
Provide installation of offered bandwidth and
termination equipment
6)
Provide business class support for maintenance and
repair of offered service
General Limitations:
1)
Road Runner offers and supports products as a
‘transport provider’ for cable broadband networking
2)
Road Runner responsibilities end at the ‘output
port’ from the cable modem or router
3)
LAN design, configuration, installation and support
is the responsibility of the customer and/or their contracted agent
4)
Installation and support for customer premise
equipment (pc’s and servers, and non-Road Runner network routing equipment) is
the responsibility of the customer and/or their contracted agent
5)
Installation and support for premise wiring for LAN
or other network topologies is the responsibility of the customer and/or their
contracted agent

purpose of setting mutual expectations between the customer and Bright House
Networks-Road Runner regarding product scope, installation and support
responsibilities. Descriptions and
limitations may not be limited to those listed above.
